While Luxembourg City boasts the shiny headquarters of several European institutions and EU offices, it is also home to a beautiful old town that's designated as a World Heritage Site.Kids will enjoy Le Chemin de la Corniche and Cathedrale Notre-Dame. Get out of town with these interesting Luxembourg City side-trips: Mullerthal Trail (in Mullerthal), Vianden (Altstadt Vianden., Vianden Castle, &more) and MNHM National Museum of Military History (in Diekirch). There's lots more to do: take in the dramatic natural features at Casemates du Bock, examine the collection at National Museum of Art and History (Musee National d'Histoire et d'Art), admire the masterpieces at Letzebuerg City Museum, and don't miss a visit to Place d'Armes.
