The state of Victoria crown jewel, Melbourne boasts shaded streets, leafy residential neighborhoods, vibrant street life, and a picturesque city center.
Step out of Melbourne to go to Torquay and see The Great Ocean Road, which is approximately 1h 35 min away. Dedicate the 8th (Wed) to wine at some of the top wineries in the area. There's lots more to do: take in nature's colorful creations at Royal Botanic Gardens, take in panoramic vistas at Eureka Skydeck, kick back and relax at St. Kilda Beach, and walk around Fitzroy Gardens.
