Get in touch with natural beauty at Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve. The attraction bears the title of the country's first official wetlands reserve and plays a significant role as a resting habitat for migratory birds. The area's unusually large bird population was first noticed in 1986, when a call was made to preserve the naturally significant area. Today, the area is a popular site for eco-friendly tourism, as it features raised wooden walkways and viewing platforms surrounding the water. Bring your binoculars, as the area is an acclaimed bird-watcher's haven. The reserve offers plenty of educational resources, allowing you to learn more about the region and the animals within the natural habitat. Due to its remoteness, this is one of the most quiet spots for walking in Singapore. The area is fantastic for seasonal birding and if you want to spot the Malayan monitor lizards.

Nice place to walk and enjoy the nature. Not so crowded if u come early, like 7 am or so. Pay attention to the birds “singing”. Use the sound to locate them. Occasionally u will see some birds grabbing some fishes for food ~~~ Take your time and walk through the different trials. Well renovated and toilets are available.

A Wetland nature reserve with an emphasis in Bird watching. Bring your binoculars if you have one, and you may be able to spot some migratory and exotic bird species. The path is relatively well maintained and is suitable for a family of most ages, I have even seen elders in wheelchair being pushed around to experience nature.
