Experience the vibrancy of Singapore's Indian culture at Little India, where you can immerse yourself in the smells and tastes of aromatic food at the district's range of ethnic restaurants. Try masala dosa--a crispy pancake filled with fragrant potato curry--or a spicy fish dish, washed down with a mango lassi. The neighborhood also has a reputation for bargain shopping, with goods available at a fraction of the price charged by upscale retailers. If you do decide to try out your bargaining skills, watch out for fake or low-quality merchandise sold at the markets. It has the same vibe as Little India in Kuala Lumpur and Klang, Malaysia where there are concentration of local Indian ethnic population. However this Little India is cleaner and perceptively safer...

Cool place to stop by. This is one of the places I visited during my 3 day visit to Singapore and i’m happy I did. Nice feeling in it with markets, restaurants and people.

Surprised to see quite a number of Indians literally. I've been to India and seeing this community looks like and feels like I am in India again. Enjoyed the stroll seeing a crowded place with lots of things to shop not only flowers, fruits and vegetables but also textile and gold jewelries. Love the array of Indian cuisines varying from Northern to Southern India.

+ very touristy place + must visit, if you want to experience the taste of india in Singapore and the history of it. + there are food stall, restaurant and some kiosk + near the MRT station + very colorful If you visit here at morning - afternoon I suggest you to bring hat, sunscreen or umbrella. Because it’s very hot here. If you interested in Indian food, try it in one of the restaurant here is a good idea.
