Charge your camera for panoramic photographs from SkyTower, the tallest structure in New Zealand. Auckland's eye-catching landmark, this 328 m (1,076 ft) observation and telecommunications tower rises over the city's business district and remains best known for its unique needle-like design. An elevator whisks you to the top in less than 40 seconds, leaving plenty of time for breathtaking views from one of the observation decks. For an extra kick of adrenaline, take a peek at the city below through the glass-floor panels. If you happen to be here at sunset, you can see the colors changing over the city and enjoy a cocktail at the tower's cafe/bar. • Great views of Auckland from observation deck 51 and sky deck 60! Paid ticket on app and ticket redemption is simple. Plenty of photo opportunity at both areas with 360 views. Sky jump or Sky walk...

  • The view of Auckland is awesome from up there but it's hard for me to justify the $40 price per adult entrance as you can finish viewing in 15 to 20 minutes. Also, when we were going up initially...

  • Goes without saying please Visit this!!! Absolutely stunning panoramic view of the whole city and beyond! What we Absolutely loved was that on the windows they have described what we are seeing and the meaning behind it. The staff is so courteous and they even have clear window panes to look underneath. We made a reservation but when we got there the lines were minimal (I'm sure because of covid) you can also dine there but definitely need reservation for that!
  • After lots of cloud cover from late morning till ~2pm, there was lots of sun to capture some great pics. After waiting in queue for a few minutes, purchased a ticket, bypassed 'photo opportunity' and headed to the first of 3 accessible levels, Level 51 - Main Observation Deck, followed by Level 60 - Sky Deck and then back to Lavel 51 and a quick walk down to Level 50 - Sky Cafe. Back up the stairs to Level 51 and headed back to ground level. Overall not too crowded and a great experience on each of the 3 levels.
