National Museum of Natural History
A natural history museum with interactive displays, National Museum of Natural History has a few floors of exhibits that are geared toward families. On the first floor, taxidermied animals are arranged in displays built to look like the animal's natural habitats. The upper floors continue with exhibits on minerals, forests, and insects, each featuring a section that can be touched. Your final stop in the museum will be the gift shop and cafe, furnished with chairs and tables designed to look like trees in the forest. Alot to see and alot of interaction unfortunately there was no English translation. The cafe was lovely and very reasonable. There offer an OAP reduction but we found out afterwards.

Good museum with lots to see but unfortunately only in german and french. The models and images speak more than the writing would anyway, but some english descriptions would have been a nice touch

An amazing museum to have fun even with 3 y.o. child 😍 Please note that it's not allowed to touch the items, so it's better to negotiate about it with your toddler in advance 😅 We counted wolves, butterflies, t-rex teeth, etc, found some rare animals like pangolin (my son haven't seen them before) and watched a short film about asteroids (it was indeed impressive!). For sure older kids will benefit and entertain much more in this museum than 3 y.o., but even for very small kids it's fun. Museum staff is super-friendly. Thank you!

Free museum and it was fairly interesting. I would recommend for anyone who is struggling to find something to do in Luxembourg. Backpack requires a locker. €1 coin is needed.
