Parc Merveilleux, Bettembourg

This place is more playground for children than a zoo. Sadly looks like entertainment for children is more important than animals, which don't look too happy. We've seen lots of rotten food in cages and even species of slugs that were dead. Exposition windows were mostly dirty, animals tired and people very loud. But surely looks like fun place for families. I appreciate a lot fairytale route.

This is a cute....zoo-ish farm park kind of place with little moving displays that look like they came from 1950s Germany (I really don't know how else to describe it haha). There are some animals like deer and cows and monkeys and wolves. We also saw tortoises, a cute porcupine, peacocks, and a few other things. The kiddos LOVED the various playgrounds, too. Oh also, there are plenty of toilets without long lines, even though the park had a lot of people in it. Oh, we also ate lunch at the restaurant inside. It took forever for our food to arrive (I think they're short staffed due to the pandemic) but, once it arrived, our food was delicious!
