Given the very dense population in Hong Kong, the tsimshatsui promenade provides a leisure and spacious walk along the southern /eastern tip of the Kowloon peninsula. The promenade starts at the Star ferry and ends in Hung Hom. From the Star Ferry side, you will walk by the Cultural Centre, the Museum of Art, the Intercontinental Hotel where it becomes the Avenue of Stars. Try come here once during the day and once in the evening after sun down. The harbour view is just amazingly beautiful.

The TSIM SHA TSUI promenade. It’s a lovely walking place right next to the water. Everyday after dinner. I used to walk almost 2 kms. Many ppl come here. They are sitting area. It’s a very calming place. Very close to chungking mansions. It’s always clean. A few years back it was called the avenue of stars. As all the big movie stars has their hand imprinted on the tiles. Now those tiles and bruce lee statue and other stuff has been shifted to the small park connected to the promenade .........
