Fantastic museum, loved the fact they all volunteers here are ex sea fares and go through all the details explaining everything. The sail ship which is still sea worthy was just amazing. The museum too was amazing... All marine/maritime facts. Plus the photo exhibition.. must go if you love ships

A great museum that I have taken my kids to a number of times over the years. Has awesome number of ships you can get on and explore. There’s a few old time large sail ships, a modern(ish) naval destroyer and even a submarine you can board too. The actual inside of the museum shows the history of Australian maritime over the years. There are plenty of staff around to help and to inform. It is a great day out with kids, young and old!
