  • I went to Open Horizons. As a Greek I wanted to see the exhibits that came all the way from my country. It was rather small in number of exhibits and the $15 dollars for the ticket are ridiculous...

  • the museum has many varied exhibits that are enjoyable for all ages. I especially enjoyed the life sciences section, specifically the bug section. I highly recommend the miniature models section, which is fun for all ages. there is also a cafe there for people to sit. there was also a lovely exhibition on aboriginal people and their culture. warning for some bright lights on that one
  • Today 27 April 2022, for a birthday celebration, we saw the triceratops exhibition, Brilliant! The fossils and video explanations / descriptions were top class! We also saw the rocks minerals and crystals, WOW! Beautiful. We went into the forest gallery where we were treated to the Bowerbird doing a dance in his bower, the other birds were flying and calling out, just like we're in a real forest! The Melbourne museum, always interesting! You must go here!
