Iceland's southernmost village, Vik, sports some of the country's wildest and most dramatic coastline.
Kick off your visit on the 24th (Sun): enjoy the sand and surf at Black Sand Beach, stop by Wool Gallery Vik i Myrdal, then take in the dramatic natural features at Dyrholaey, and finally stroll through Sólheimajökulll. On your second day here, take a pleasant ride with a tour on horseback, trek along Fimmvorduhals Hiking Trail, admire the striking features of Reyniskirkja Church, then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Vik Church, and finally stroll through Reynisfjara Beach.
