High in the Andean foothills, Quito remains one of the world's most photogenic capital cities, featuring two dramatic mountain ranges as its backdrop.
Kick off your visit on the 4th (Sat): admire the landmark architecture of Basilica del Voto Nacional, admire the striking features of Fundacion Iglesia de la Compania, then get engrossed in the history at Museo Templo del Sol Pintor Ortega Maila, then don't miss a visit to Mitad Del Mundo, and finally stop by La Mundial Custom Boots. On the 5th (Sun), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: deepen your understanding at La Ronda, then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at San Francisco Church (Iglesia de San Francisco), and then get to know the fascinating history of Quito Old Town.
