The smallest of Australia’s state capitals, Darwin has nevertheless become an attractive and important urban center, being simultaneously one of the country’s most modernized cities and a gateway to both the Top End region and South East Asia.
St Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Cathedral and Star Village will appeal to history buffs. Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Defence of Darwin Experience and Museum & Art Gallery of the Northern Territory. Spend the 22nd (Mon) wandering through the wild on a nature and wildlife tour. Spend the 24th (Wed) on the water with a fishing tour.
