Start off your visit on the 21st (Wed): take in the natural beauty of Strokkur, then play a few rounds at Geysir Golf Course, and then admire the sheer force of Gullfoss.

Kharkiv, Ukraine to Geysir is an approximately 18-hour flight. You can also drive. The time zone difference when traveling from Kharkiv to Geysir is minus 2 hours. When traveling from Kharkiv in August, plan for cooler days in Geysir, with highs around 16°C, while nights are little chillier with lows around 9°C. Iceland's southernmost village, Vik, sports some of the country's wildest and most dramatic coastline.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Vik: Fjadrargljufur Canyon (in Kirkjubaejarklaustur) and Landmannalaugar (in Landmannalaugar). There's much more to do: take in the dramatic scenery at Skogafoss, kick back and relax at Black Sand Beach, take in the dramatic natural features at Dyrholaey, and Head underground at Rutshellir Cave.

Getting from Geysir to Vik by car takes about 2.5 hours. Other options: take a bus. In August, plan for daily highs up to 14°C, and evening lows to 11°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 24th (Sat) early enough to drive to Reykjavik.

The popular town of Husavik not only boasts some of Iceland's best whale-watching opportunities but is arguably the northeast coast's prettiest town.
Start off your visit on the 29th (Thu): get a new perspective on nature at The Húsavík Whale Museum, then look for all kinds of wild species at Wildlife Areas, and then take a pleasant ride with a tour on horseback.
