Kaitaia is a town in the Far North District of New Zealand, at the base of the Aupouri Peninsula, about 160 km northwest of Whangarei. On the 29th (Sat), enjoy the sand and surf at Rarawa Beach, kick back and relax at Ninety Mile Beach, and then kick back and relax at Tapotupotu Beach. Step out of the city life by going to Paradise Valley Springs Wildlife Park and Orakei Korako Cave & Thermal Park. Step off the beaten path and head to Lake Rotorua and Agrodome. Change things up with a short trip to Waiotapu Boardwalk/ Mud Pool in Wai-O-Tapu (about 44 minutes away).
