Often described as the city of laptops and lederhosen, Munich is an international center of business, engineering, research, and medicine that still maintains a rich cultural heritage and age-old traditions.Discover out-of-the-way places like Zugspitze and Schloss Linderhof. For shopping fun, head to Viktualienmarkt or Markt am Wiener Platz. Step out of Munich to go to Hohenschwangau and see Schloss Hohenschwangau, which is approximately 1h 30 min away.
