The kingdom's capital and most modern city, Thimphu offers a mix of ancient traditions and modern commercialism.
Kick off your visit on the 26th (Thu): admire all the interesting features of Dochula Pass and then pause for some photo ops at Kuenselphodrang. On the next day, stroll through Motithang Takin Preserve and then get a dose of the wild on a nature and wildlife tour.
