Queensland’s biggest town and state capital, Brisbane has an attractive, manicured image based around its riverside aesthetic as well as the contrast between its high-rise center and extensive urban greenery.
Kick off your visit on the 25th (Mon): explore and take pictures at Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt. Coot-tha and then stroll around South Bank Parklands. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 26th (Tue): take some stellar pictures from Mount Coot-Tha Summit Lookout and then tour the pleasant surroundings at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary.

A neat, cosmopolitan city of shaded plazas and laid-back neighborhoods, Cairns serves as a popular base for exploration of the surrounding region and the Great Barrier Reef, as well as a center for watersport activities like surfing or waterskiing.

Cape Tribulation

A lush headland that's part of the forested Daintree Region, Cape Tribulation was so named by Lieutenant--later Captain--Cook in 1770, when his ship ran aground in the area.
On the 30th (Sat), hike along Dubuji Boardwalk, then stroll through Myall Beach, and then relax in the rural setting at Cape Trib Exotic Fruit Farm. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 31st (Sun): explore and take pictures at Marrdja Botanical Walk, then kick back and relax at Cape Tribulation Beach, and then take a pleasant ride with a tour on horseback.
