Jardines de Alfabia, Bunyola

Garden · Historic Site
Once the residence of a Moorish viceroy, Jardines de Alfabia now represents a cultural monument of outstanding beauty. The complex includes a house, gardens, and orchard, approached by a wide avenue flanked by tall plane trees. Although the house displays many Roman-Andalusian elements of architecture, you'll also recognize Gothic, Arabic, Renaissance, Baroque, and Rococo influences. You can take a sneak peak through a virtual tour of the house and gardens, available on the website. If you're planning to visit during a real-life vacation, remember that the complex welcomes visitors between April and October. See the website for exact dates and opening hours. • Reduce the entry price. It was definitely not worth €7.50 entry. We were through the gardens we had actually travelled some distance especially to see in about 20 minutes. Plenty of shady palms but...  more »
  • I've lived here 30 years & passed the hidden entrance so many times & only just visited this gem now. It really is must see!  more »
  • Very nice place with shadow, green and some fountains. The entry costs 7,50 Euro per person and I think in the spring when the nature starts around it will be more colourful than now in the summer. But nevertheless a great place for recreation and to open and relax your mind too. In the later afternoon especially during the week will be lesser visitors so you can better enjoy your stay here.
  • It is beautiful place 🥰 Always there is a question of what you like 😉 I love flowers, gardens & overall places where I can take beautiful pictures because of how amazing something is by itself. I think those gardens could be great even for wedding pictures 🥳 It is not that big, but it's well kept, has nice caffeteria with food and drinks made from organic ingredients and even herbs growing around the garden. It is a pleasant calm walk with possibility to see how wealthy/noble people lived. I really liked the experience 😊 * Entrance €7,5 or residents €5. Open till 6.30pm but last entry 5.30pm Parking in front. Toilets available by cafeteria.
