Touring Saadian Tombs allows you to learn about the Saadi dynasty and the wealth and splendor enjoyed by its sultans. The mausoleum was constructed on orders of sultan Ahmad al-Mansur during the 16th century--the remains of around 60 members of the family have been interred here, including the sultan's mother, wives, and children. Each room has been decorated with great attention to detail, though the Chamber of the 12 Pillars boasts the finest marble, plaster, and gold ornamentation--a resting place fit for a royal, it contains the remains of Al-Mansur and his son. Saadian Tombs Reviews
Ładnie, ale uważam, że 70 dirhamow to zbyt wysoka cena. 2 małe i jedna duża sala która żeby obejrzeć trzeba stać w kolejce bo drzwi są na szerokość dwóch osób. more »Nicely, but I find that 70 Dirhamow is too high a price. 2 small and one large hall which to watch you need to stand in the queue because the door is in the width of two people.
Visite du lieu pour 7€. Très riches ornements. Ne vous méprenez pas vous êtes dans un cimetière donc un lieu secret. more »Visit the place for 7 euros. Very rich ornaments. Don't get me wrong you're in a cemetery so a secret place.
Saadien's Tombs is a historical site in Marrakech, Morocco. There are several buildings. Each building has many tombs, of various sizes, large and small. Small tombs signify a child's resting place. The largest ones were for important people. It is a peaceful place. Also, hard to find unless you have a guide. Don't ask for directions. They hassle you for money and they are not happy with a buck or two.
Good to see, and the gardens attached are pleasant. However, be warned - we queued for about 35m to look into the main area, only to discover it is a very small access point to look into one large and gorgeous room, which was definitely worth 19m waiting, but felt less so, given the time it took.
