  Incredible day spent in Kyoto guided by Nicolas, a French speaking Swiss guide from Kyoto Daily Tours. I asked him to “experience” rather than “visit” the city and it by far exceeded my expectations.....  more »

  Really appalling experience. Joined the tour while on crutches. The tour guide didn’t even make an effort to allow me to follow up with the rest nor did she once offer to help. Throughout the tour, we struggled to make up what she was saying and had to keep asking her to speak up or adjust her mike. Half way through the tour, I actually lost the group at one of the shrines in Gion. All in all, it was a horrible experience thanks to an amateurish guide.
