  • Amazing place this is. Good to go with kids, they would enjoy it very much. The entry is ₹80 and almost takes 2-3 hours to complete and exit. The weekly holiday is on Tuesday, so plan and visit accordingly. Also they have a unique concept in which they label your plastic water bottle and take a deposit ₹10 during entry. During exit, you can you can show them the bottle with the label and get the ₹10 refund. This is to ensure that people do not litter inside and ensure that it is a "plastic free zone".
  • Undoubtedly the best zoo in India. 12 years back when we first visited the zoo we had hardly time to enjoy in a proper way because of our schedule. This time we made it a point that we will not miss anything and will give enough time for the visit. Twelve years back first time we found here the concept of adopting an animal. Though it has become common to all the zoos now but the quality of living standard of 5he adopted animal hardly improves elsewhere. But here one can make the difference. Variety is another aspect here. Many African animals can be seen here. But we came to know that the Gorilla which used to be the star attraction here has died. The road inside is planned in such a way that be it sunny day or rainy day the shades about will give protection to its guests. Non polluting electric cars can be booked for trip inside the zoo. The shop in the middle of the zoo gives one option to carry some remembrance of the zoo.
