Anamudi Peak is situated In the Western Ghat ranges in the Idduki district of the south Indian State of Kerala. This peak is the highest peak in southern India and scales up to the height of 8,842 ft. The mountain seems to touch the clouds and this makes the view almost heavenly. A delight to trekkers, photographers, and nature lovers, this peak offer something to everyone.
The breeze here gets you fall in love with the act of breathing, the elation in your heart gives you a non-toxic high, the panoramic view make you feel like a free bird in the sky, and the isolation gives you the taste of saintly philosophical enlightening. No visit to Kerala is done without it. Yes, this is the highest peak of South India, but is also far more than that. It is not a snow clogged or crowd laden spot where locals are after tourist's money, it is rather the coolest tourist place in India if you take being cool as if a trait of personality.
