Sivának szentelt templom, a bejárattal szemben egy bika (Siva szent állata) szobor van. A templomot a XII. sz.-ban építették, a Chola dinasztia uralkodása alatt. A templomban oktatás, sőt kereskedelem... more »There is a church dedicated to Siva, opposite the entrance there is a statue of a bull (holy animal of Siva). The church was built in the 19th century. It was built in 2008, during the reign of the Chola Dynasty. In the church there was education and even trade at the time of its operation. There are very nicely carved stones inside and outside, many of which depict, for example, dancers, with characteristic hand and leg movements. On the outside of the walls there are also painted pictures in some places, these come from later times.
Gorgeous temple! If you are an art and architecture enthusiast you will love it! Especially look out for the pillars depicting scenes out of Indian Epics.
What a Stone Art work, Mind Blowing, No words to say. I missed these in my past. Need to visit again and again. Best Architecture in the Word. It was famous for very very tiny stone work. Those time workers are really skilled person. I am very happy to see those art. Many Many historical events are present in that stone art, Like Mahabharatham, Ramayanam and etc. Again i will plan to visit after a year.
