Mystery Rooms Reviews
Real Funfilled experience. Escape from a scenario in an hours time, solving puzzles which lead you closer to the exit. Time Management is key here. Puzzles are fairly easy. Have tried Prison Break... more »
It was indeed a good experience. We can choose from different themes. I chose prison break which had a medium difficulty level. We were 3 guys who tried. Overall it was a good experience but a little.... more »
Great place for a fun outing with friends or colleagues. Suggest a minimum group of 6 to really enjoy the multitude of puzzles there. Each one is different and it takes time to solve the reasonably complex clues, but is awesome fun overall... Expect to spend about an hour in solving each of the puzzles/mysteries... Do one or do all... depending on how much time the group has...
I fell in love with the concept of Escape Rooms while I was living in the States and was honestly quite sad when I left because I had gotten used to going every week. I was THRILLED when I realized there were a few similar ones in Bangalore and after trying out a few places, I chanced upon Mystery Rooms. Over the past year of being back home, I’ve visited this location close to twenty times. Yes, the rooms are the same but it’s a joy taking new groups of friends and family and watching them figure it out. I’ve also made some cool friends on staff and this has encouraged me to come back so regularly. However, nothing would prepare me for last Thursday’s shock. I had called ahead and said that I would be exactly 5 minutes late for my booking. I showed up at 9:35 on the dot, with a few friends that I was introducing the concept too. We were greeted by ELVIS who seemed to be having a rotten day. He didn’t say hello, he didn’t get us to register, all he said was that our game time would be cut as we were late. I went on to explain that I had called in but he was just rude and insulting in front of my guests. He went on to call and YELL at the staff member (on my phone) who took my booking, in front of all of us. Even when he went to the next room we could still hear him screaming. This left a horrible taste in everyone’s mouths and we already wanted to leave. The usual enthusiasm wasn’t there when they explained the game nor when we finished and came out. I was just going to leave it but as I was booking my escape room experience at a different place this week for some friends that I’m taking out tomorrow I just wanted to write in to let the team know that you have lost a regular because of one person’s terrible manners. Suggestions: 1. If the staff are tired by 9:30 close by 9:40 and not 11. 2. Have someone cordial and happy at the front desk. 3. Have a database of people who come back time and time and time again and try to be polite to them.
