Cave Ruin Must See
Discover the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ellora Caves, a series of 34 temples carved in the Charanandri hills. The majestic, stone-cut cave temples were built between the fifth and 10th centuries, carved into a tall basalt cliff in an uninterrupted sequence. Despite some of the structures being dedicated to Hindu deities, and others serving as Jain and Buddhist monasteries, the temples harmoniously coexisted for hundreds of years. Admire the architectural splendor, elaborate detailing, and intricate decorations of the massive, multi-religion complex. • What a place, what a beauty of nature. When you are here you will forget everything. When you visit every cave you will feel proud that you are a part of this religious and still we are connected with them. Must visit here. Lord Shiva temple is awesome. It's a live history that everyone should know.
  • It was fun visiting there. It is well managed. Only INR 40 for Indians. There are many caves inside, so one needs whole day to visit all. A local guide suggested to visit 10 & 2 first as they are good. I would advice to carry food and water inside. It opens around 9:30 AM, so better to visit as early as possible otherwise in the afternoon it becomes hot.
