  • Beautiful place, high rock wall stretching in kilometers-the place of meeting 2 geological plates-Eurasian and American. You can tell that you are on 2 continents at the same time:) For divers an additional attraction-the underwater world of the meeting of 2 boards. The place is very interesting, it is on the UNESCO list and it is worth it. It is not as popular as Geysir, or Gullfoss, but "must see".

  • It was not planned to visit it today but the route has brought us directly to parking 3 that overlooks the end of the Almannagiá fault and seeing that what seemed to run parallel to our road could be a plaque and see the oxárfoss waterfall we stopped. That's a big deal. The impressive fault and the best the few people who have allowed us to enjoy the scenery which is breathtaking. If there is time we will return because it may be educational to know more about the first democratic parliament and the union of Euroasiaand and American plaques waves
