  • Pingvellir or Thingvellir National Park is sacred ground for icelanders. Here, folk collections took place for centuries and the landscape is of an almost unearthly beauty. For disabled people, parts of the park are not or difficult to reach, but it is also difficult for others to reach places but are very worthwhile. We were in the park during our Golden Circle tour and didn't want to miss any of it. We were rewarded twice and cross for our efforts. You really can't miss this.

  • Of the two days of trips around the island, this was the last location. Impressed the most) Although saw more large-scale, but this park - something special. Here you can see the Mid-Atlantic Ridge on land, rifts and cracks. Gorgeous rivers. For fans of "Game of Thrones" there are also recognizable places, according to guidebooks and guides)
