My "Amsterdam Pass" did not include Van Gogh museum!! We had to buy it online. Picked 9:15 am spot. Then we didn't have to wait in line and straight to the Museum. They had special exhibition with Mil... more »
"Extraordinary art of the ordinary things". Brilliant paintings by Van Gogh, mostly art of country life. However, there is a huge queue for tickets. Thus it is highly recommended to buy tickets online to avoid almost an hour long queue in busy time. Would recommend to use hearing device in the museum that would cost 5 euros.
Great place for families. My kids did the treasure hunt which was fun, educational and appropriate in content. Artwork, of course, was beautiful. Watch your kids closely because there is nothing to stop them from reaching the paintings other than a horizontal bumper that can be stepped over.
