Moriskentanzer is a composition of brightly painted and gilded wooden figures carved by Erastmus Graysser in 1480. This Gothic masterpiece remains a star attraction of the Munich City Museum, which chronicles the everyday lives of city residents through an eclectic collection of artifacts ranging from musical instruments to hand puppets to oldest known carousel horses.
