For a chance to explore distant corners of the world without ever leaving Denmark, visit Copenhagen ZOO. Established in 1859, this is one of the oldest zoos in Europe, spanning about 11 hectares (27 acres). Famous for its elephant house, designed by renowned architect Sir Norman Foster, the zoo is the only one in Europe sheltering and breeding Tasmanian devils. Other rare species housed here include Amur leopards, okapi, and musk ox. The zoo's Nordic exhibit includes harbor seals, brown bears, and gray wolves. Be sure to drop by the arctic exhibit, noted for its observation tunnel that allows underwater views of polar bears. Copenhagen ZOO Reviews
Vi var i Zoo igår. En rigtig dejlig oplevelse at se det hele med lys på. Meget flot pyntet, og ikke for mange boder med mærkrlige juleting. more »We were in the Zoo yesterday. A really nice experience to see it all with light on. Very nice deced, and not too many stalls with Maersk Christmas stuff.
Zoo molto vasto, con tanti animali presenti, alcuni non comuni negli zoo (diavolo della Tasmania, mucche) altri classici. Si passano facilmente tre ore all'interno. Sono presenti tanti bar (carissimi)... more »Very large zoo, with many animals present, some uncommon in zoos (Tasmanian devil, cows) other classics. You easily spend three hours inside. There are many bars (dear), restaurants and fast food at acceptable prices. WiFi covers almost the entire area. At additional prices there are other services available. There are no student discounts. It took about three hours to visit it all, without children.
Great zoo. Many animals that you can see really close. Information is clear and really well explained. It is really clean, you have many options to eat and to buy things. In general a great experience for the whole family and one of the best zoo I have seen. A must see in Copenhagen. We had a great time
It's a nice zoo with beautiful scenery and some lively animals which look happy and well taken care for. If you do not have the Copenhagen pass the ticket itself is quite expensive but as is everything else in the city. Overall a good and enjoyable experience 7,61/10
