Take a step back in time with a visit to Den Gamle By. Opened in 1914, this outdoor tourist attraction explores various aspects of Danish town culture, featuring a complex of 75 historic buildings. As you stroll through this recreation of a small town, look in on the bakery, pharmacy, merchant's house, and school. Be sure to visit the 70's themed quarters and the toy museum, noted for displaying more than 6,000 playthings produced during the 19th and 20th centuries. Across the museum grounds, you can also find several diners and cafes that also house small exhibits showcasing the working methods of ordinary Danish townspeople. Den Gamle By Reviews
Museum ist aus der Innenstadt auch zu Fuß gut erreichbar, außer man will Kräfte sparen für die Besichtigung. Without debauchery - I only knew open-air museums in the representation of rural buildings and ways of life. It shows city buildings of all social classes, until the 1970s. super!
ביקור במוזיאון פתוח, כאן מציגים את חיי התושבים בעיר במאות השנים האחרונות לפי רובעים וזמנים, המקום מחולק ל 3 חלקים, ההקפדה ניכרת בכל מקום. הביקור במקום של מחצית המאה הקודמת החזיר אותי לימי ילדותי ונעור... more »A visit to the Open Museum, here, presents the lives of residents of the city in the past hundreds of years, according to districts and Times, the place is divided into 3 parts, and is evident everywhere. The visit to the place of the last half-century brought me back to my childhood and became a childish one, despite the great distance in a simple place, just like we used to be.
Spectacular! Definitely worth a visit. Interesting and creative museum. We expected a short visit but there was so much to explore that we ended up spending around 4 hours there. We rushed through as we had other places to visit but easily could have stayed another hour or two. We ate in the grill and I had the largest pork chop I have ever seen! Very tasty food. We found the entrance fee to be very reasonable and I would recommend this museum.
Always a pleasure! Lots of old original buildings collected from all over Denmark. Live actors in some of the buildings that doing everyday things from that time and are happy to tell you about life at that time. There is also a poster museum and a big underground complex with more classic museum exhibitions. I definitely recommend.
