Covering an area of approximately 3,900 sq km (1,505 sq mi), the reserve rests on a vast seasonal floodplain, where many stationary and migratory animals find a temporary or permanent home.     In three days we saw 12 lions hunting zebra and a pack of african wild dogs. And a leopard tortoise!  more »

    Red Lechwe and Hippos are the highlight at this time with the grass so thick and high and lush it makes spotting animals difficult when only permitted to drive on the designated tracks and never off.....  more »
