Probably one of the last things you'd expect to see at an altitude of 3,656 m (11,995 ft) on the edge of the desert, Train Cemetery presents a vast collection of historical trains and locomotives. The trains stand as a monument to Uyuni's past as a prosperous mining town. After the collapse of the industry in the 1940s, the trains were simply abandoned on the edge of town, left to the mercy of scavengers and the winds blowing from the nearby salt flat. You can wander freely around the site and take pictures, but if you want to climb the trains, be careful of the sharp, rusty edges. Using our world travel planner, Uyuni attractions like Train Cemetery can form part of a personalized travel itinerary.

Train Cemetery Reviews
時間帯によって人が沢山いるこの場所。写真スポットだけど、一日ツアーとかでここで時間を使いすぎるとあとの塩湖とかでの時間が激減するので注意です。4日ツアーとかなら大丈夫です。 more »This place has a lot of people depending on the time of day. It's a photo spot, but it's a good thing because if you spend too much time here on a one-day tour or something, your time at the salt lake will decrease dramatically. It's okay if it's a four-day tour or something like that.

People turn into children and have fun playing train in train, seeking the best angles for photos
So insanely crowded with tourists that it ruins the attraction. The trains are cool but you see about 200+ people walking all over them taking Instagram photos. I did find a spot away from the hustle and bustle which was nice
Incredible abandoned train play ground! You can climb on and explore the abandoned steal giants. Best time of day to visit would be just before sunset.
