Roslyn Packer Theatre Reviews
Excellent experience. Sydney Theatre Company's home for world class drama and emerging artists and producers. We pre-booked dinner (enjoyable) for an 'un-rushed' experience as transport / parking... more »
Every time I've seen a show here I'm not sure what I enjoy more, the show or the theatre itself. The interior aesthetics are delightful and ease with which large crowds move through the venue is... more »
I've been here a few times now. The Theatre is part of the industrial, heritage buildings. It works well as an entertainment venue. Seating is well planned. I personally don't have a problem walking around the rocks to Circular Quay for a meal, but others might find the lack of restaurants and choice somewhat painful. On a positive note, you can now get special rate parking right next door to the theatre which is a bonus!
This is a beautiful feature. We sat up the top, front, middle. We were a bit worried at first about how high and far away we were going to be but it was perfect! The stage is huge! The seats are comfy as well. There is a simple bar on the bottom and the balcony which would possibly be too small for a full house to get everyone supplied with intermission refreshments. It is definitely bigger than what I thought it was going to be from the photos and stage plan. Although it still has a great intimate art vibe. The Sydney dance company were amazing!
