Celebrated a 60th birthday on the top floor. Had a great night and the staff were great. Food was good and reasonably priced. The view was magnificent and made that much better as we were there for sunset. Little bit of a walk to get there from train or bus but well worth the effort.
Had a birthday here on the rooftop terrace. Great day, platters were excellent and good choice for 30+people. Guests loved the views, counting the bridge walkers and giving them a wave. If anything, noise from the occasional train just added to the atmosphere. Drinks reasonably priced. There were a couple of other groups on the terrace so it was a bit crowded BUT website and owner did say it can't be booked for one party alone. Was offered an indoor room but just preferred terrace. Staff were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. Hidden gem.
