Station Pier Reviews
The Terminal is nothing short of a disgrace. It is chaos getting into the Terminal when a Cruise ship is boarding and you could easily wait 15 minutes or more in the queue (we did!). The Terminal... more »
Our cruise ship berthed at this pier. The pier is used for cruise ships and the ferry going to Tasmania. The facilities at the terminal are decent and just outside the main gates there’s a tram... more »
My daughter had her 21st birthday here last week. The venue itself was presented very nicely. For the price that we paid I feel that it was not so good or very professional. Firstly we paid for 2 security guards for the evening only to be told on arrival that the 'owner' was one of the security for the night even thought he disappeared very early into the evening?? There definitely did not seem to be adequate food for what we had paid for. Secondly we paid for a human size 21 number which did not light up properly. One of our guests who was an electrician tried to fix it but was unable to get it completely working and the owner Paul insisted we would be compensated for this. My wife has since contacted him numerous times and his partner Aimee and also the event host Kristy to address the problem but nothing has been resolved which is very disappointing. The photo booth was very average with very few back drops and the DJ that was recommended by them was unfamiliar with much of our music we had prepared for the night which was also a disappointment! We didn't have odd requests either, a mix of latest music and some 80's ,he apparently hadn't heard of Cold Chisel and 'Khe Sanh' ?? Lastly the bar attendant who told us he was hungover and hadn't slept for days was having shots while working?? Our expense I imagine!! Overall not very professional.
Nice place but had an engagement here on a freezing cold night in July and there were no outdoor heaters so it was hard to socialise outside and enjoy the sea view. Also there is no cloak room so you either had to hold your jacket all night or leave it lying around somewhere.
