Went here with my friend who is visiting from the USA and we both enjoyed ourselves! We were also lucky that it was a beautiful day as the zoo is open air and most of the animals were out on display! We were also lucky enough to watch the feeding of the tigers! The enclosures are well kept and the animals seem happy and well fed! Great to see them thrive as close as they can to their habitat. You can definitely take your time and spend the whole day here. Great for families and children. There is also ample parking there and easy to get to via public transport! Would definitely visit again!
Wow! The Clean, Friendly Environment was a nice touch to all the other wonders of this place. Great Animals and Interactive Fun for people of all ages to enjoy. I personally loved all the effort put into making this zoo nice and tidy. The staff were willing to give directions and the zoo had map spread all around. It is more fun to go in the morning as there are less people and the animals are not hiding from plain sight. The different variety of animals made the zoo more enjoyable and the gift shops and cafes were not over-priced. Much better than the zoo in Sydney. Overall I recommend going here. Five stars is a well deserved rating. But the do not supply umbrella's to hire. Great Job Melbourne Zoo 👏
