  • La Trobe's Cottage is located in the King's Domain Melbourne. The pre-fab cottage was shipped to Melbourne in 1839 to be the new home for Superintendent (later Lt Governor) Charles LA Trobe. It contains original furnishings plus numerous historic artefacts. Entry is by guided tour only, $5-00 entry fee. Worth a visit only open Sunday 2-00pm-4-00pm.
