    Not sure if covid has all but killed the stalls here, but most of the shops were closed, and many were empty. Very disappointing. And those that are open, mostLy don’t care. They just stand around...  more »

    Quiet little village with a loot of aboriginal art for sale. Loads to choice and all very good quality! Lots of small stores where you can buy souvenirs. The Cafes have good coffee and good service  more »

    Nice place to wander for a day trip. It's better to take bus to skyrail to Kuranda village, 2 stations on the way up with lookout points (King tree and Barron waterfall). A boat for cruising along river or 3km nice walking route. Take Kuranda train back to city in almost 2 hours with 10 minutes stop at Barron waterfall lookout. Not much to see at Heritage market if you are a fan of shopping.

    Magic and wisdom at its highest can be found at this market. The best food and hand crafts are things you can have but the knowledge and insight one may gain can go beyond your expectation, stay for more than a day, get to know the market holders.
