  • A large zoo park near Sydney and which, for us Brazilians, is unmissable because we have the opportunity to see and even interact with many animals that do not exist in our fauna. Penguins, pelicans and other birds, the great Australian crocodile that is adapted to live in sweet and salty waters, koalas, kangaroos, wallabies (marsupial that looks kangaroo but much smaller), various snakes, equidna (a mammal similar to the porcupine), flying fox (from the bat family). The marsupials are sociable and let themselves caress and come to eat in your hand. Anyway, a unique experience with great and unreleased photos! There is also a shop where you can buy beautiful souvenirs from these animals.

  • Looking for a fun family day out, then this is it. Featherdale has been around for generations now and is still giving a good experience. It's a popular tourist trap and you will often find bus loads here throughout at the week. However its not crowded. There is plenty of native Australian animals to see at your own pace. Very educational for kids as well as giving them the opportunity to feed and pet them. It's definitely a bucket list item.
  • A nice space for watching wildlife. Plenty of animals and birds. The staff are very courteous and helpful. The cafe offers decent hot and cold food and coffees. The special enclosures for bats, bilbies and snakes are well maintained. Overall a nice spot to enjoy with kids. The farm animals are a good experience as well.
