Alice Springs Reptile Centre Reviews
We are glad we visited the Reptile Centre, right in the Alice Springs CBD. It was very easy to see the exhibits closely while they were in their open-air enclosures. It was great to be able to hold a ... more »
Quite a small place but with loads packed in! Snakes, lizards, even a crocodile! The Thorny Devils are the absolute highlight! more »
The tour guide gives a great presentation with all of the different animals. The lizards were interesting. I'm not the biggest fan of snakes, but we were goven the chance to hold one. The group also got up close and personal with a crocodile and several more reptiles. Highly recommended for the adventurous traveller!
Really enjoyed this. The place is not very big, but they have a respectable collection of amphibians, including a large saltwater crocodile named Terry. They also have thorny devils, which were interesting to me as a non-australian. Make sure you are there in time for the demonstrations as you will be able to hold several reptiles including a snake. Staff were very nice. They have a nice little gift shop as well.
